Description

Indulge in the delightful flavors of fall with this easy Apple Pie Dip! This warm, gooey treat combines tender apples simmered with brown sugar and cinnamon, offering a comforting dessert that’s perfect for any gathering or cozy night in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 medium apples (peeled, cored, and chopped)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 8 6-inch flour tortillas (for chips)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apples by peeling, coring, and chopping them into small cubes.
  2. In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, combine chopped apples with brown sugar, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, lemon juice, and water. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until apples are tender.
  3. Mix cornstarch with a few tablespoons of water to create a slurry. Stir this into the apple mixture and cook until thickened (about 2 minutes). Remove from heat.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray tortillas with cooking spray and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Cut into triangles and bake for about 10 minutes until crispy.
  5. Serve warm Apple Pie Dip alongside cinnamon sugar tortilla chips.
