Ingredients

  • 500 grams lean beef mince
  • Lettuce (shredded)
  • 23 medium potatoes
  • Cheese (dairy-free or regular)
  • Pickle slices
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (dijon or yellow)
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice (from the jar of pickles)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or mixed herbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. Prepare the spice mix by combining all spices in a small bowl.
  3. Wash and slice potatoes into chips; toss with olive oil and half of the spice mix.
  4. Bake potato chips on a baking tray for 30-40 minutes until crispy.
  5. In a frying pan, cook beef mince with remaining olive oil and spice mix until browned.
  6. Mix burger sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
  7. Assemble bowls with potato chips, lettuce, cooked beef, cheese, pickles, and drizzle with sauce.
