- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp brown sugar (or honey)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup pecans (or walnuts)
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the butternut squash, apples, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and brown sugar until evenly coated.
- Add salt and black pepper; mix again.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish with a lid and distribute butter pieces on top.
- Cover and bake for 15 minutes.
- Afterward, add raisins, cranberries, and nuts; toss gently.
- Cover again and bake for an additional 15 minutes until tender and lightly browned.
