- 1 cup chopped pecans or almonds
- 1 cup granulated sugar (200 grams)
- 1 cup butter (226 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup water (60 ml)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Toppings: chocolate chips, additional chopped pecans, flaked sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine butter, sugar, salt, water, and vanilla. Stir gently until mixed.
