Ingredients
- 2 Earl Grey tea bags (or 2 teaspoons loose leaf tea)
- 2 cups water
- 1–2 tbsp sugar (to taste)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/2 cup whole milk (or milk of choice)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional)
Instructions
- Boil 2 cups of water in a kettle.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add the Earl Grey tea bags or loose leaf tea. Steep for about 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags or strain out leaves. Stir in sugar until dissolved and add vanilla extract if desired.
- Slowly pour in milk while stirring. Add heavy cream for extra richness if preferred.
- Serve warm in a mug and enjoy! Optionally garnish with cinnamon or lemon.
