Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 medium zucchinis (thinly sliced)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- Seasonings: garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned; season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, and Parmesan until smooth.
- Grease a baking dish with olive oil spray and layer marinara sauce, zucchini slices, half of the beef mixture, half of the ricotta mixture, and half of the mozzarella. Repeat layers ending with mozzarella on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
