  • 4 large russet or Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish with butter.
  2. Wash, peel, and thinly slice the potatoes.
