Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
  2. Beat eggs and sugar until light, then mix in vanilla. In another bowl, sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; fold into egg mixture.
  3. Spread batter evenly on the pan and bake for about 10 minutes until springy.
  4. Roll the warm cake in a kitchen towel dusted with powdered sugar; cool completely.

  6. Unroll cooled cake and spread whipped cream filling evenly; re-roll without the towel.
