  • 1 ½ cups white sugar
  • 1 ½ cups freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 810 lemons)
  • 2 cups mango chunks (fresh or thawed frozen)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the simple syrup by combining 1 ½ cups sugar and 1 ½ cups water in a small saucepan. Heat until nearly boiling, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Allow it to cool.
  2. In a blender, purée 2 cups of mango chunks with ½ cup of water until smooth.
  3. In a pitcher, mix the cooled simple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and mango purée. Add the remaining water (3 ½ cups) and stir well.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or dilution as needed before refrigerating until chilled.
