Instructions

  1. Cut off the top and bottom of the pineapple; remove the rind and core. Slice into spears or rings.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, dark brown sugar, optional rum, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Place pineapple pieces in a zip-top bag; add marinade and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Preheat grill to medium heat (375-400°F). Grill marinated pineapple for 4-6 minutes on each side, brushing with marinade.
