  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole milk (room temperature)

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. 3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add the sugar mixture.
  4. 4. Beat in the eggs one at a time and mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. 5. Alternate adding milk and dry ingredients into the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. 6. Fill each cupcake liner two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
