- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 2 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 1/2 tablespoons heavy cream
Instructions
- Prepare the peach filling by mixing cubed peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
- In a stand mixer, combine warm water and bread flour. Add sugar, yeast, salt, milk, cream, egg, Tangzhong, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
- Gradually incorporate remaining bread flour to form a soft dough. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl to rise until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter over it. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Distribute thinly sliced peaches evenly on top then roll up tightly into a log shape and slice into equal pieces.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and prepare the crumb topping by mixing softened butter with brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour until crumbly. Sprinkle over rolls.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
- For the glaze, beat melted butter, room-temperature butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and heavy cream until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
