  • 2 fresh oranges (zest and juice)
  • 2 whole cinnamon sticks
  • 1/4 cup sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water

Instructions

  1. Brew the Tea: Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan. Once boiling, remove from heat, add black tea bags and cinnamon sticks, and steep for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Oranges: Zest one orange and juice both oranges to yield about 1/2 cup of juice.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Remove tea bags and cinnamon sticks. Stir in sugar or honey until dissolved, then mix in fresh orange juice and zest.
  4. Chill the Tea: Allow the mixture to cool before transferring it to a pitcher filled with ice. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
