- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

- 2 cups fresh strawberries
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/3 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 zest of lemon
- 2 tbsp whole milk
Instructions
- Warm the milk (105°–110°F) and mix with yeast and sugar; let sit until frothy.
- In a bowl, combine melted butter, eggs, and sugar; add the yeast mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add flour and salt, knead until smooth, then let rise for 1 hour.
- Prepare the strawberry filling by cooking sliced strawberries with lemon juice, sugar, water, and cornstarch.
- Roll out dough, spread filling, roll tightly into a log, cut into pieces, and let rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
- Combine softened cream cheese with butter, powdered sugar, lemon zest, and milk to make icing; drizzle over cooled rolls.
