  • 1 large onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 kg mixed seafood (shrimp, salmon, white fish)
  • 2 large potatoes, diced
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1.5 liters seafood or chicken broth
  • 200 ml white wine (optional)
  • 500 ml double cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Add onion, celery, carrot, and garlic; sauté until soft.
  2. Stir in mixed seafood and diced potatoes; cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well. Gradually add broth while stirring continuously.
  4. Bring to a gentle simmer; if using wine, add it now. Pour in double cream and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes until slightly thickened. Serve hot with fresh parsley on top.
