- 20 caramels (unwrapped)
- 1 tbsp milk
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add egg white and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Gradually incorporate flour and baking powder until smooth.
- Roll out dough to about 1/4 inch thick and cut into circles with a cookie cutter.
- Bake for 6-8 minutes until puffy; cool on wire rack.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt caramels with milk until smooth; spoon over cooled cookies.
- Chill cookies in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips in another bowl; spread over caramel layer on cookies.
